Fourth of July parade in Rexburg to Ca's briday shower

My little sis' bridal shower. Amy was a great host! Thanks Ame's for always taking care of us! We love you!

My baby sis had a busy summer! She graduated from BYU Idaho in July and then got married in August!

So, we tried this BBQ restaurant in Utah that Guy Feiri went to - I'll have to say that the Blair's BBQ tops theirs.

We watched the 4th of July in Rexburg this year - it was pretty awesome. I liked in better than last year in Sandy, UT.

My little Erin just loves to take pics of herself. I think this is a cute one!

We're alive!

Hello, friends. We have arrived safely in Provo, Utah. Not yet settled in an apartment, been checking mail from the library right across the street from our temp. stay, and searching, and searching for jobs! We have done some fun stuff here and have been spoiled with the busy shops and restaurants! Miss ya & keep us in your prayers as we are trying to adjust!

Pain, searching, partying, and training...

So, last week the dentist extracted my wisdom teeth. One was still impacted, so they had to cut through my gums and take it out! The next day, it swell up so big that it freaked me out. Plus, I was in a lot of pain & I threw up everytime I took pain meds. Comes Monday morning and the swelling hasn't gone down. Ends up, I had an infection. Yeah, not fun at all!!! I have to go back in acouple of days to get stitches removed.

Rico is always on the computer searching for apartments. We are anxious to move into a bigger place, hopefully...

Erin has been invited to so many princess birthday parties. She wore this Cinderlla constume for her 4th bday & I can't believe that it used to down her ankles. Look at how tall she's grown!!!

We have been attempting potty training with Eli. He'll tell us that he needs to go "poo-poo" or "pee-pee," gets on the toilet, sits on it for a while and then flushes it. Flushing is his favorite part. Sometimes he'll stick his hand out of the shower curtains while bubble bathing and just flushes the toilet!

Drum rolls please...

After waiting & lots of prayers! Rico got accepted to San Jose State, Cal State East Bay, and BYU, Provo. We have decided for Rico to attend the EMPA (Executive Masters of Public Administration) program in BYU, Provo this fall. We are excited and at the same time sad because we will not be moving to California where our families are. My husband asks me, "Are you ready for Utah?". My response was, "Is Utah ready for me?"

Tony bought a triple decker strawberry shortcake for Rico!

Rico and cousin Paul!

Jacob: Ooh, la la...E-Nang is so pretty!

I had so much fun in the 1 1/2 feet deep pool with Erin & Eli.
Rico is always telling stories...

Summer fun in the Bay Area~

My sister Pa and I at Tracy Thai! The last day we spent together. I love her so much!

Jacob Thomas and Eli Jacob!

We went for a splash in the swimming pool at E-Pa's house!

Rico and my sis and friend at Rico's graduation party!

Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Okay, so we have been waiting and waiting to hear from grad school. Rico has been accepted to Cal State East Bay (in California) where it's close to families and lots of sun!!! He has also been accepted to BYU. We are praying that we will make the right decision for our children in the long run since where we decide to go will ultimately be where we'd like to settle down as a family for good!

Art in the Park

This was our first year Erin experienced "Art in the Park" at Lincoln Elementary. Either we missed it last year or I wasn't aware of it! This year's theme was art of course and mom's volunteered to be in charge of an art or craft project. Projects that were included were making kites, lizard beading, painting, stamping, making tissue flowers, stenciling, sidewalk chalk and many many more! I had tons of fun and enjoyed spending the day helping and being with Erin.

Paint stamping with her best friend.

They decided to make beaded bracelets instead of beaded lizards.

Boot Camp - Field Day

Eli at Erin's field day at school. The theme for this year was boot camp! So, there were relay races, tug of war, jump rope, push ups, bike races, and the tire thingy that you have to run through!

They also had a dunk tank. Eli and Rico had fun watching the students get dunked!

One of the obstacle courses was a bike race. Erin did pretty well. She finished 2nd in Mrs. Hawkin's class. She bikes everyday, so it paid off!

We also got to see Erin do push ups effortlessly!

The Mask...& red velvet cake....mmm

That same night, I'd just finish sewing ties for the boys for Ca's wedding and with some left over fabric, Erin cut out a mask and had me sew it for Eli. He's such a big goof!

Oh, yes...it was a virgin drink!

On Cinco de Mayo, E-Ca brought some tacos and burritos she had left over from her party at her apartment. She also brought some yummy daquiri which Eli loves, loves!

My first red velvet cake with butter cream frosting. This is also for Ate Emily who was also craving for red velvet cake. We ate a peice for you!

Erin was making cupcakes from her toy bake set she got from Isabel from Christmas. She made this red velvet cupcake and was so yummy that I decided to make red velvet cake the next day!

Someone's in trouble...

Erin is such a great older sister. She loves Eli and takes care of him on the playground. Mama sent clothes with Monica coming back to Rexburg and this is her favoreite, favorite shorts. She makes sure I wash them every night! This one of the days that was nice and warm. Lately, it's been raining and windy!

I know parents wait to put their children in timeout until they are two years old. Well, Eli is almost 21 months old and Rico and I feel that he is smart enough to know that there are some behaviors that are not ok. For instance, on this day, I made brownies and gave the brownie spoon to Erin. Of course, Erin shares, but she refuses to let Eli hold it. So, Eli screams. So, I get another spoon and dip it into the brownie mix but he doesn't want it, he wants the one Erin was holding. He throws a tantrum, throws the spoon on the floor, makes a mess and attemps to knock Erin's spoon out of her hands. So, here he is in time out. He wouldn't stand and face the corner, but he stayed there anwway. Terrible, two's here we come!!! Yeah!

BACK TO WORK!

Well, Rico had about a week and a half break before he started working full time at Lexington Law. If any of you know Rico, he's very focused in school or work! He's a very studious and hardworking person. So, it was nice that he didn't have to worry about school or work for that window frame. We had more time to do things as family like going on long walks, going to the zoo and swimming at green canyon hot springs. We'll have more fun times to come!

Many of our good friends have moved on to grad school and started careers, as we are still anxiously waiting for our acceptance letters to law and grad school! I am nervous, but I know the Lord knows what our little family needs. Keep us in your prayers. We hope that our next move will be a good experience as we had here at BYU-I!

Toothless girl!

She finally lost her other top tooth! Yeah!

He did it!

The Pascual family!

Our little family of four!

Tito I-Boy, Ate Ems & Jen, Uncle Rock, Tony, Richard & Charley drove from Cali and arrived at about 2pm on Thursday!

Rico with his class mates.

Ahhh! Finally, after eight years, Rico graduated with his Bachelor's Degree.

Fun week to come!

We are two days away from Rico's graduation! His family is arriving Thursday at about noon. We have about 12 people in our house! Crazy, but they always know how to have a good time! We are very excited since Rico is finished with finals that day. They too are excited and would love to see what Rexburg is all about!!! LOL We will be heading out to Utah on Saturday to spend time there and show them around temple square!!! So, we'll be leaving in the morning Saturday and coming back that night! Boy is that going to be a fun, long day!

Erin singing the alphabets backward!

Erin, sending a blow kiss to E-Pa!

Here it is, Pa. Erin's high school matching head band and pillow (my first sewing project).

Erin is singing the abc's backward while Eli wants to "hold it" (the camera). Also, I have been teaching myself how to sew since my friend gave me her old sewing machine. Erin is wearing a head band that has high school musical prints on it!

How many ways can you say "cheese"?

Eli makes the funniest "cheese" smiles! He makes us all laugh!

Erin's fairytale ball...dancing the Teton Mountain Stomp

Can you see Erin in the Snow White dress? She's in the back with the yellow skirt! They walk in circles, so Erin will come up to the front where I was video taping and you'll get a better view of her....she's so adorable!

Erin's fairytale ball & dancing the Waltz.

Here are some of the backgrounds we decorated for Erin's fairytale ball at Lincoln Elementary...

Sleeping Beauty.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears. When the dance instructor introduced Erin's teacher as Madonna...we all cracked up. She was dress up as Goldilocks, blond & curly hair.

Erin dressed in Snow White is dancing with Happy, one of the seven dwarfs. His mom headed the committee and we planned it out!! JK
