Erin is such a great older sister. She loves Eli and takes care of him on the playground. Mama sent clothes with Monica coming back to Rexburg and this is her favoreite, favorite shorts. She makes sure I wash them every night! This one of the days that was nice and warm. Lately, it's been raining and windy!
I know parents wait to put their children in timeout until they are two years old. Well, Eli is almost 21 months old and Rico and I feel that he is smart enough to know that there are some behaviors that are not ok. For instance, on this day, I made brownies and gave the brownie spoon to Erin. Of course, Erin shares, but she refuses to let Eli hold it. So, Eli screams. So, I get another spoon and dip it into the brownie mix but he doesn't want it, he wants the one Erin was holding. He throws a tantrum, throws the spoon on the floor, makes a mess and attemps to knock Erin's spoon out of her hands. So, here he is in time out. He wouldn't stand and face the corner, but he stayed there anwway. Terrible, two's here we come!!! Yeah!

Yay for terrible two's. Right when it feels like Audree is almost out of hers she goes and has a horrible tantrum. :)
We started using time out at 20 months. Maybe I'm a horrible mother, but that's when her attitude started up and so we had to do something. Time out seems to work really well though, she hates it.
I'm soory, but as I was reading about Eli, I couldn't help myself from laughing. He is clever, Nang. He figured out early how to wrap mommy and daddy around his finger!! It's okay to start time-out that early...I think if they understand the meaning of 'no,' then they are ready. Jacob is not too far from that.

ha ha Eli is so handsome! We started time out early too. I think Ava likes the corner though so I don't know how effective it is. On Sunday Riley put her in thecorner during sacrament cause she was naughty, andas soon as they came back in and sat down ava started screaming, "Ava go back to corner daddy!" I guess she has more fun in the corner than in church :)
Oh what a boy!! They sure a more fun to play with as they get older.. but then also comes the tantrums and attitude!! WE sure miss seeing you guys!
