Oregon

Rico has graduated from BYU and took a job in Beaverton, Oregon which is about fifteen minutes away from Portland. It is beautiful! We love the green when we moved here this past summer. As we approach winter, we love how the trees everywhere is either red or yellow! It was gorgeous. The rain isn't so bad as we expected it, but it may be soon to make that judgement. =) We also welcomed baby Eisely Grace H. Pascual to the family on October 4th, 2012. I went in for an appointment at 9 a.m. and she was transverse. With 2 days away from my due date, the doctor decided she was going to admit me to the hospital and have the doctor do an inversion. When we got to the hospital that evening she was in breach. Which means, they had to grease my belly with gel and rotate her from the outside to get her head down. It was painful and hope that I never have to go through that again! Within five minutes, Eisley was head down, the bound me so that she wouldn't likely move around again. I was induced and about seventeen hours later, at 9:55 a.m., Eisely made her debut at 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She is healthy and beautiful. She looks just like Erin when she was a baby. She is adored by both Erin and Eli. They love helping with diaper changes, feeding, and holding her. For the first couple of days, she didn't sleep much because Erin & Eli kept passing her back and forth. She is a great sleeper and wakes up twice at night for feeding or diaper change.

Grandma Remona and Grandpa San flew in about two weeks later to meet baby Eisely. They were such a great help with everything from laundry, cooking,cleaning, and getting the kids ready for school. The kids were sooo spoiled. They also stayed here long enough for Halloween. Mama bought Eisley her first Halloween costume. She was the cutest little baby chick. Eli was Captain America and Erin was Hermione from Harry Potter. We wished they were able to stay longer!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and joined Starr and her family for dinner. It was so yummy! Our kids miss their cousins during the holiday, but they enjoyed very much spending time with Thompson's kids!
