We've been heart attacked!!! Tears of fear & laughter!

E-Ca came over to heart attack our house. So, we told Erin that someone had "heart attacked" the house and she took it in medical terms. She wouldn't let us open the door because she that someone had had a heart attack outside our door. She started crying until we open the door and she saw all the candies that were taped to the door. We felt so special and we love E-Ca!

Eli does all sorts of funny things. We bought this baby bath from DI and I used it once to take a bath for Eli, but it didn't work for us. So, Eli uses this as a recliner and here he's watching "Horton Hears a Who?" with E-Ca and Erin.

Erin takes pride in her missing tooth!

Eli is always fighting for my attention while I'm either on the computer or doing the dishes. One night, I was trying to update my blog and he kept pulling me and turning off the computer. He finally gave up, found Erin's hat and put it on by himself, and went downstairs to look for Erin to showcase her hat he was wearing. Silly kid!

2 sick kids...

Ok, so it was Friday and we'd plan to drive down to Utah for a friend's missionary farewell. Eli got sick with a mild fever the night before and Erin came home Friday with a fever. So, I decided that we would stay behind and that Rico will go take his LSAT and the farewell party. We all needed some fresh air, so E-Ca and I had lunch at IHOP and then took the kids out shopping. Actually, E-Ca and I went shopping at Porter's and Robert's. Fun, fun, fun!!!
Here, Erin keeps herself occupied as we we walked around the store deciding what craft we wanted to do to keep ourselves busy for the weekend.

We thought Eli made a cute little elephant. The kids had fun and fresh air was exactly what they needed! Erin had a fever that lasted two days and Eli is still snotty, boogery, and keeps me up way late lately!

Coupons from Mickey D's!

I am a coupon clipper freak! Eli & I had lunch at McD's and Eli loves loves the indoor gym...apparently so does E-Ca!

Have you ever seen a little kid so happy over a cup of soda? He's something else. Last night, Eli took off his diaper and put it on his head as a hat. What was he thinking..lol!

FHE game night with the Crebs & Birthday cake for Debbi.

Lindsay made a pink birthday cake for Debbie. It was so cute. She made a tiara out of tin foil. It was yummy too!

The kids had cupcakes while we were playing Catch Phrase. Rico and I are Catch Phrase freaks! We love playing games with the Crebs & Blairs.

Ward Valentine's Part

We had lots and lots of pasta and sauce sample at our ward Valentine's party. We had lots of fun decorating cookies and Eli loved eating them!

Future Missionary and Bowling

We went bowling last week for Family Home Evening. Eli was very curious at how the bowling ball spits out of the machine.

Standing with Rico, Eli curiously watches the bowling ball rolls down the lane and knock over the pinballs.

The other week, we heard Eli screaming from somewhere. When we found him, he got a hold of Rico's tie and tried to put on himself, but couldn't so we helped him. He will be a great missionary one day!

My handsome little Jakey!

Ok, so I stole this pic from my sister! Jacob is the cutest little thing! He was a premie, born at 26 weeks and a little over 2 pounds. He is growing beautifully, catching up with my Eli. He's now over 12 pounds and almost five months old. He is the miracle baby!

My camera was out of battery when I was uploading pics earlier. So, enjoy some of the pics I just added to the previous posts earlier today!

The Nutty Professor & Tooth Fairy

Yup! Erin's top tooth finally fell off. We were having dinner last night and as she was grinding her teeth while eating, it was so loose that it was hanging off by a hair. I told her to pull it off and she refused to and before you knew it as she was holding on to it, it came off. She immediately started to laugh out loud, followed by a hysterical cry. It was hilarious. I wish I could have captured it on video camera. The tooth fairy will pay a visit for sure tonight.

Mike, our neighbor got new glasses and came over to show them off to us. We put them on Eli...he's so funny!

Christmas at Ma-ma's

We open Christmas a little bit after midnight at the Horn's home. We are so thankful for the wonderful gifts we received and see the happy faces on the children when they open their presents.

Christmas morning, Eli, Erin & RJ ran to check their stockings. They were filled with reindeer bows, candies, toys and other treats. E-Ca was the first one up because she was Santa's little helper!

Erin is a great helper with opening presents.

Eli's new found love is cars!!! Ma-ma and Kong bought him a collection of 30 hot wheelers and he will sleep, eat and bathe with them!!!

Eli is trying to figure out how to drive RJ's car that he got from Christmas.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Erin just loves to play in the snow! Any chance or free time she has, she's outside eating snow, swimming in snow, and snowboarding on the sled. Here, she was making snow angels and when I came over with the camera, she decides to play dead.

Eli is still trying to figure out snow and what it is. Erin dunk him in the snow and used his hands to support himself and started crying bloody murder. I guess it was super cold for him. He loves loves loves ice, but refused to put snow in his mouth. Today, Rico tracked in snow in the front entrance at the door and I noticed he was picking up after Rico and was eating them!!!
